Live On, an Evening for Paula Menendez and Julie Crocker in Support of the Canadian Women's Foundation

On Friday, May 7, 2010, the Crocker and Menendez families will host the first annual charity dinner, “Live On”, in memory of Paula Menendez and Julie Crocker in support of the Canadian Women’s Foundation. Erin Davis and Mike Cooper, co-hosts of the 98.1 CHFI morning show, will emcee the event, which will include a dinner, silent auction and dance.

In February 2007, Julie Crocker and Paula Menendez were the tragic victims of domestic violence. They were murdered by Julie’s estranged husband in Markham, Ontario.

In memory of Julie and Paula, this dinner will raise funds to support the Canadian Women’s Foundation’s Shelter from the Storm Campaign, Canada’s largest national fundraising campaign dedicated to ending violence against women.

The event will be held at the Old Mill Inn and Spa, 21 Old Mill Road, Toronto, Ontario, with the reception beginning at 6:30 pm and dinner being served at 7:30 pm.
