CWF Skills Institutes
The first of five regional Economic Development Skills Institutes was held in Sydney, Nova Scotia in June, 2006. CWF is organizing five regional meetings (as opposed to one national), in response to significant regional issues that are impacting the women’s community economic development sector, including funding and government policies. This allows us to focus workshops on local needs and issues, and better informs how we shape our processes to address organizations across Canada.
