We move low-income women out of poverty
The Canadian Women's Foundation moves women out of poverty across Canada by supporting life-changing programs that get them on their feet both financially (through skill-based training), and personally (by supporting them in other aspects of their lives like building confidence, networking and securing child care). The programs we fund focus in the areas of self-employment, social purpose enterprise (a business which provides goods and services to both earn revenue and achieve social goals), trades or technology.

CWF also brings together organizations working in the areas of Women’s economic development to share research, skills and the most promising practices for moving low-income women out of poverty.
